BAD Customer Service

I went to the register at the Hallmark store in Jefferson Valley Mall. The cashier rudely told me that there was a customer behind me who somehow was ahead of me and she proceeded to check her out first! I was pissed! At the time I was stunned and said "Oh, sorry!" and let the lady go. Now I think about it and it's like she prioritized this woman's purchases over mine. It still bothers me. Also I got an email with a 20% coupon in it and I tried to print it multiple times and it would not print. Irritating!

The cashier was probably in the middle of ringing the customer up and perhaps an item was broken or she forgot something and the cashier told her to go back and exchange the item or pick up something she forgot. If she's in the middle of a transaction, she can't necessarily void it.

You need to get over yourself and learn a little bit of patience and humility. You may be treated as a princess in your world, little girl, but back here on earth, we have something called reality we like to live in. And just like the other person who posted to your so called complaint, how is it Hallmark's fault that you can't print the coupon? You can only print a coupon once, maybe twice.

If you tried printing it more than that, it won't allow you two.

It's called fraud if you try to print it more than the number allowed. Grow up.

Why should you have been able to jump ahead of someone else?

Also, how is it Hallmark's fault that you had problems with your printer? SMH.

Customer in line first they should wait on you everyone else needs wait if you were a Car would you run over me probably I feel like this when I go Hallmark Tn I'm not happy with 40.00 Book I bought it's not the way I asked make it buy she tried

Hallmark Cards Crown Rewards Program

This program suggest you turn in card codes to earn rewards which can then be redeemed for gift cards valued at five dollars. I have not been able to redeem mine for this whole month, they are about to expire and I will lose credit for the cards purchased. My issue was that the first time I tried redeeming the reward I got error message and was told to contact them, I did, then told they would resolve the issue....today was the last time I contacted them for a total of four different contact in one month, still told they are trying to resolve the issue. So done with them, feel like I lost my money,time and effort. Just another company scamming their customers by delivering only to a select percentage and then saying all the errors on internet web site failures and having disclaimers that these incidents are beyond their control...well I have the power to pick and choose,so have chosen to submit report to BBB and to choose not to shop their cards or store. Ahhhh, great to have the power of being a consumer.

My problem was trying to obtain a certificate from Restaurant.com for ten dollars. Nowhere does it say when you select this reward that you must sign up on that sight.

I called Restaurants.com and was told I HAD to enroll in their program in order to get the reward certificate. I followed the directions that even Hallmark said to follow and it is impossible to get the certificate without enrolling. I had no problem getting a certificate for Lowe's, Starbucks and Staples. Even though I was not able to get the certificate Restaurants.com started sending me junk emails.

Avoid selecting this reward unless you're already a member. Somehow I think this is illegal.

I'm having the same problem and they are so not helping. My question is why can't they process it over the phone since their website isn't working for so many?

It's so dumb. Fix the program or don't tell us we will be rewarded for buying overpriced cards.

They won't even exchange DEFECTIVE merchandise!

We received a Christmas toy that plays music as a gift from my Grandmother, I was pretty certain it was broken from the day we got it but at least some things worked and I didn't want to deal with it so I kept it. Now a week later the toy is unusable. I guess the return policy varies from store to store. The one I went to won't do anything without a receipt and tags even though it is defective! When I suggested she could keep the tags off the one she gave me in exchange she threatened to call the cops on me. I guess she understood I was just going to steal it or something. That was the story this morning, but when I returned with the intention of buying one and returning the defective one, now the policy was absolutely NO returns on holiday merchandise. I called 1-800-HALLMARK and they basically said try a corporate store if you are lucky they will exchange it. I just can't believe a company like Hallmark doesn't stand behind the quality of a product that is "Exclusively for Hallmark"

Flashing happy B-day necklace

I had bought a flashing B-Day necklace for my granddaughter on the day she wore it it only last about 1/2 an hour. I went upstairs to the store since her B-Day was done at the mall where it was purchased. I took it upstairs and explained what happened. They would not exchange it without the receipt, even though I had the package but not the receipt, so I bought another one and the exact thing happen. I feel I got cheated out of the first one even though they knew that both of the items were defective. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE WON'T BE BUYING ANYTHING ELSE FROM THAT STORE.

Two faced boss

I was hired at a Gold Crown Store in Indiana. When I got hired on, I immediately realized how two-faced the boss was. She constantly would talk behind the other employees backs about how she has to do everything because they were to *** to do it and that she would have to go behind them and fix it. One day she told me to do a Vera Bradley display and then complimented me on it. The next morning when I came in, she had torn it all down and was putting a whole different display up....? After only two weeks working there I was asked to get something from the back room. It took me a few minutes to get it because I couldn't find it right off. She came back there all huffy and said "its right here" in a mean tone. I let it go....I know everyone has a bad day once in a while. The one thing that she said all the time though is that Hallmark is a different company to work with and that customers expect a certain attitude from all the staff. When a customer would ask multiple questions and cut into "HER" time she would get loud and sarcastic with them. If any of us seemed to get frustrated but kept our composure she would pull us aside and reprimand us. I can't stand Hippocrates!!!!!! That is one of the many reasons I left there so quickly!!!! I have been a manger of a bigger company and would never treat any of my employees like that!!!! I go by the saying "if you act good, your employees will do the same!!!!" It's a monkey see, monkey do attitude!!!!

This is my right now at my store in Norfolk, Va.

The entire "Becky's Hallmark" Franchise is known to be amongst the worst. I had no idea.

My manager seemed like a great person, I noticed the first day that there would be potential turmoil. She does the same, she berates her employees, and they all talk about her behind her back. It was a chain I wanted nothing to do with. However I got close to a few of the senior girls and fell into it.

I was written up yesterday for "starting" all the drama as well as having alcohol on my breath, which was a big no no. I don't drink during the day or even before work. I am of age but I am smarter than that.

I am extremely disappointed and sad that things turned out this way. I am looking for other employment.

BEWARE!! BEWARE!!

We purchased over $300 worth of Hallmark Christmas ornaments which were given yesterday on Christmas. One ornament (the Fisher Price TV that is supposed to play two songs and show the "movie") was broken. It did not work at all. A second ornament was a duplicate. I went back to the store this morning to exchange both. The manager (who stood at the door like a bouncer), told me in a nasty way that there are no refunds on ornaments. I explained patiently that we opened the ornaments yesterday on Christmas and the FP one was broken so we need to exchange it for one that works. She told me in a loud, nasty voice. No refunds, no exchanges. I explained the situation again, reminding her that I'd spent more than $300 in her store, and she got louder and nastier. I told her that there's no sign in the three aisles where the ornaments are sold stating the store policy. She brought me up to a register (nowhere near where I'd been rung up when I purchased my items) and pointed to a tiny sign where "No refunds/exchanges on ornaments" is written in a small font, and the sign is hidden behind a cash register...again, so nasty. Then she shouted at me that she had told me the store policy when she rang me up (SHE DID NOT RING ME UP; someone else did, and he never mentioned any such policy). So we're out $17.95 for the FP ornament and $12.95 on the duplicate ornament...she told me I should have tried the ornaments before leaving the store...the batteries were sealed in plastic and an eyeglass sized screwdriver is needed to open the battery compartment....can you picture HER allowing me to "try the ornament" in the store. It's a no win situation for the customers and a total win for the store because they can knowingly sell defective merchandise and know that they won't have to take it back. It actually made me sad to think that I was treated so poorly, ripped off, and treated like trash...at Christmas. We normally spend $300 on Hallmark ornaments for Christmas gifts each year, but I'm thinking that next year, it will be time for a change. If this is the way Hallmark treats their customers, this is not a company I want to reward with my hard-earned money. As or the ornaments, I'll donate the duplicate and trash the broken one and then go out and buy something else as replacements...will never enter a Hallmark store again.

Working for hallmark

i worked for Marias hallmark in Munster Indinana for 3 yrs and i loved iti in the beginning but the manager for that store Rhonda Rettig is no manager what so ever. She was never there. treated her employees terrible made up stories talkes about employees behind their backs.Accuses people of stuff not true.And the owner is not much better. They have no respect for the people who work for them.When thing are broke they just glue them back together and resale.I wouldnt think Hallmark would want people like that to represent Hallmark I spent alot of money in that store and now I really regret it,Im sure all Hallmark stores are not like that. I just wanted Hallmark to know what kind of store Marias Hallmark in Munster is.

NO ONE DESIRES TO HELP. I RETURNED A KEEPSAKE ORNAMENT AND GOT CREDIT BUT THEY GIPPED MR OUT IF THE 50% OFF ON THE TWO NEW ORNAMENTS I BOUGHT.

SO NOW I HAVE TO GO BACK AGAIN TO GET THE RIGHT CREDIT THEY OWE ME.

Staff not interested in hearing what you need but more interested in getting ready to go home.

Hallmark in Jonesboro Arkansas Employee Tina was Super Rude!!!

I was in the Hallmark at the Mall at Turtle Creek in Jonesboro Arkansas shopping for my grandmother's Christmas present. This person Tina came to me and asked if i needed help and I told her i was looking for and angel for my grandmother. She said "We ain't got none, i think", so i asked her "if you did where would they be?" she then said "I told you we don't have any!" I stood there stund and then I looked around for a minute and did find plenty of angels, even angel that have grandmother saying on them. Needless to say I WILL NOT be going back!!!!!!!!

Unfairly fired

I used to work at Hallmark. I was a vender at Hallmark. One of the companies I was a vender for was CVS. At CVS there were two female employees, one about 17 who looked and dressed like she was in her twenties, another who was elderly. I was fired because these ladys accused me of sexually harassing the 17 year old. I was just shopping his day and they made rude comments about me when I asked the cashier whom I thought was 20 out for a date. I told her that I am CEO of Hallmark and I find her attractive and make lots of money. I gave her my phone number and asked her to call me sometime. She told me she was not interested. I told her that she is very beautiful, has big *** and asked her what size bra she wears. She then ripped my slip of paper on which I gave my phone number on and her and her friend made rude degrading comments about me. I often sell to your company I am a vendor. The next thing I know security was called and I was asked to leave the store. I left the store not wanting to shop there anymore. I filed a complaint with the manager and the manager said that I am not welcome to the store and they informed Hallmark that I was sexually harassing his employees. Hallmark claimed they did an investigation and I was unfairly fired. Seriously even if I was sexually harassing that *** which I was not I was not working but shopping that day. Also that 17 year old's father needs to whip her butt and not allow her to dress like a tramp because then she is asking for it. Tell that little tramp I am not interested in her anymore. She may be beautiful but she is a rude ***.

Hallmark Card studio software download purchase

I am so very upset. I purchased software download for my MacBook from Hallmark Card studio. I also purchased the paper and a back up copy of the download. I paid 89.00 that was paid by my paypal account. Nothing downloaded on to my computer, My paypal was charged the 89.00 and I have nothing. I have tried calling the numbers on the web. I have tried messaging them and I am not having any response. I have been on hold with their "customer service" for 1 hour. I am going to call paypal to see if they can stop payment. I do not recommend this product to anyone!!! I wish I would have purchased the program from apple!!

Need Hallmark channel

We pay alot for your service I want the Hallmark channel. I am ready to change to another service that gets the Hallmark channel. This is a family channel and during Chistmas there are a lot of good stories. I can't see why every other service has this channel and at and t can not get this what is the excuse? Some people only have have the channels I have but they have the Hallmark channel. Please Please get this channel. What is the reason for not getting this channel? I need reasons but I really need the channel
